Georgie showing off his mastery of the Nokia keypad. If I remember right, this is something he spent time on during the power-cuts in Bangalore… this video was taken around 2004. He misses the feature in the handsets available in the market nowadays… but I’m sure he’ll be upto something with the one he has now!

Here’s something I would like to see more of… real attempts to show brands in the local script as a way to really show respect to both the brand and the local language.
Nike Signage
It’s disappointing to see things like this: Nike showrooms having something so bold as their swoosh as the only reference to their brand… but on the bottom corner of the signboard you have ‘Nike’ written in the local script in the most random font. Pic by Geeta and taken from wn [dot] com.
